Using Blog Carnivals for Backlinks

If you're new here, you may want to browse my articles and if you like them please subscribe to my RSS feed. Thanks for visiting!

I’ve have been experimenting using blog carnivals for getting new traffic and backlinks to some of my other sites. Its work so well I have now started to use on all my blogs in hope to increase there exposure too.

The Technorati backlinks count for several of my sites have jumped by 10+ links in the last couple of weeks from this simple tactic, so I figured it was time to make a post here about it.

The simplicity of Blog Carnival’s are they are blog posts on other blogs where the owners of those blogs post links and comments to a bunch of other blogs that are related.

Of course the better the quality or relevanance of posts the more likely you are to be included in any specific carnival, although it’s still entirely up to the blog owner which blogs they will include in the carnival, so make sure you post some good stuff before doing a carnival submission.

You can find carnivals for blogs related to your blog at BlogCarnival.com and submit your blog using the  site and it’s very quick and easy to do, just copy your url of the relevant post and paste in the form and most other variables will by auto updated, so for 30 mins each week go to te site and search for your niche and post your best works.

Very soon you will notice new traffic and extra one way links back to your post and homepage in no time.

Yes, personally I have tried and my technorati jumps up by a few numbers. Though a blog carnival post by the host contains many featured links for those whom participated, it is still a one-way backlink for me and the process is non-tedious.

Thanks for this great explaination as to what a blog carnival is and how they work. I have heard of them a little in the past but have never taken part in one. I might have to check in to doing this!
