Twitter in Plain English

If you're new here, you may want to browse my articles and if you like them please subscribe to my RSS feed. Thanks for visiting!

Remember the RSS in Plain English? The guys at Common Craft have done another Gem, this time for Twitter. They have created a short 2.5 minute video to explain to all about Twitter.

Twitter is a free social networking and micro-blogging service that allows users to send “updates” (or “tweets”; text-based posts, up to 140 characters long) to the Twitter website, via short message service, instant messaging, email, or an application such as Twitterrific.

Last year end I published a 3 part mini series on Twitter which discussed Twitter Tweaks, twitter - social networking and micro blogging and twitter - following and followers, but at that time I could not find any visual aid to explain twitter, so here’s the video:

I would like thank essentialkeystrokes for pointing me towards this video.

If you are on Twitter, you can follow me, too.

Great. I haven’t tried Twitter yet, but seems you like it so I might give it a try later on.
