It’s been a while since I wrote about any Paid to blog sites, and today I like to touch on one of my dependable sites that has gave my the most regular opportunities to write about:
The first time i wrote about Smorty was on 30th July, and my review was fair at the time but since then the potential of the program has soon. When writing my first smorty article I had only received two opportunities which I wrote in my first week or so after that the site went dry.
Since then in the last 3 months I have taken another 30 opportunities and have been paid for all, I have earned $187.80 with this program, it’s not a huge figure but its paid for my blog hosting and other things. The opportunities come in regularly but you will need to be fast as they are snapped up fast.
You can by the table below, dated from 14th Dec 07 i have 5 opportunities awaiting my take up, in this screen shot i had taken one and have 4 awaiting me too, so easily in 2 hours you could earn $30 from this screen shot alone.

So if your blogs 3 months old and you can comply with their requirements it’s a paid to blog site what’s worth looking at…
Note: My definitive list of stumbelupon articles closes in two days, so there’s time to add your favorite article you have read or wrote yourself, and by adding these you will gain a free back link in the process.

Smorty is a great trustable paying site, but too bad i no longer do paid sites no more, chicken out since pagerank’s more important.
Smorty is one I haven’t looked into. Haven’t had much luck with hte others though. Only irrelevant offers, which I do not want to publish on my blog. Maybe I need to have a look at Smorty.
Simon, I guess this is why your pagerank dropped down to 0. You might want to make money in Google’s principle. I think any paid post will cause pagerank drop.
Hi, I’ve looked into smorty, I understand blog needs to be three months old, mine is approaching that, but I will leave it to my second blog, as I don’t want to do too many commercial posts with one blog.
Other sites who pay per post I know of are Blogvertise, which seems to be drying up of late, Sponsored Reviews, and pay per post. Also Bloggerwave (which you need PR) and ReviewMe, which has very strict qualification criteria.
Best of luck! Mark.
I regiestered as a Yeepage referrer on Smorty, but my site was rejected - they say: Unfortunately your blog was declined due to the following reason(s).
Google Page Rank 0
Not enough indexed pages
Any suggestions?
Th0rest , i think its due to a lack of posts that you have, you have only posted 2 or 3 times a month which i believe will hinder you in your submission.
I got one site with page rank or 0 but its still approved.
Create some more content then try again in a week or so…
Mark, that generally is what most bloggers do , they have a second or third blog which they use paid to post sites…
Smorty is a quite good revenue maker, but i have found that paid to post sites seem go though cycles for having opportunities.
I tried submitting my blog to both PPP and Smorty .. I was declined from PPP cos i needed to have atleast 20 posts in the last 30 days .. I’ve been working overtime to post more frequently … And for smorty, they rejected me cos my PR was 0 ..
I’ll take care of both of these problems in a couple of months for sure, but i just have a doubt, my current blog is just a blogspot blog with my personal rants .. Any idea whether the blog content will be reviewed before the blog is approved ..?? In that case i need to start up another blog solely for this purpose .. And building 20 posts in that is going to take pretty long ..
Any suggestions, or anybody who is doing paid posts on a completely personal blog /?
i have two blogs that i can use smorty on, i believe your personnel rants will be ok, but no harm to add a few topics like technology or anything…
