What does your site look like on other browsers?

I just had the awful experience the a few days ago when my friend called me and asked me look at my blog home page on IE, and I was shocked to find out that my page was misaligned until my 2nd and 3rd column had disappeared underneath my contents column( 1st column). All content was still viewable but it’s looked horrible. As you may know that all web browsers behave slightly different from one another, and I have always used Firefox without any issues, so naturally I would check my page there only but never again…
What went wrong?
I had discovered that my contest banner was the exact width of the content column and when you take into account the margin and padding etc that enlarged the column which resulted in pushing my 2nd and 3rd column below.
But unless you can view them all you may be getting people from a different browser who is unable to view you correctly, therefore losing viewers just because your page is misaligned or worse.

You can see most my viewers are using Firefox but theres still there is 27% who use other browsers other than firefox.
So whats the solution?
Browser Shots, it will take screenshots of your page in different web browsers then dispaly them for your viewing, to display my page took around 30 to 40 minutes which is quite slow but i guess it’s worth it, so go put on the kettle and make a coffee while you wait for it to complete…
Here’s the screen shoot from Browser Shots showing the choices of browsers:

I tried Browser Shots sometime ago but was turned off by its long loading time.
I guess one has to be more selective in the choice of browser to test on, in order to cut down on the waiting time.
