Adding Your Blog Feed to Twitter

We all use Twitter to keep in contact with our friends and frequently sent idle chat between one another, but we can use Twitter to send our RSS feeds too, by using twitterfeed we can automatically update our followers of our latest posts from our blog by RSS feeds without lifting a finger.

Before we go though the setting up , you will need two things:
1. A twitter account, if you don’t have your account click here to sign up
2. You will require an OpenID account (you may use your yahoo OpenID)

WordPress 2.5 Has Arrived…

The day has come and WordPress 2.5 has been rolled out. With the effort of the WordPress community for the last 6 months the improvements are numerous, with the likes of multi-file uploading, one-click plugin upgrades, built-in galleries, customizable dashboard, salted passwords and cookie encryption, media library, a WYSIWYG that doesn’t mess with your code, concurrent post editing protection, full-screen writing, and search that covers posts and pages.

Building Backlinks to your Site

Previously I spoke about backlinks and submitting to directories, and explained that backlinks are incoming links to your site from other sites and how having more backlinks will benefit your traffic as well as your Google PageRank.

Remember your Anchor Text

Try using anchor text that will be used by others when they use search engines, a relevant anchor text for which I like to use for my site would be Blogging tips. Search engines pick up links and the more they find the anchor text with blogging the higher the ranking on the search engines. This will apply to any other anchor text too.

Submitting your Blog to Baidu.com

baiduChina has the worlds largest population with over 1.3 billion people and according to a several studies China has more internet users than the USA with over 160 million internet users and spends 2 billion hours online per week.

So thats why Baidu.com is the 5th largest internet website in the world and is bigger than Ebay and Amazon, so you can see instantly why it is worth having your blog ranked in their search engine and the potential increase in traffic its worth the effort.

The first question which comes to mind is, the site is a Chinese search engine for Chinese people and you write in English.

Now they are hosting the Beijing Olympics this year, the government has had a huge campaign to speak English and they will soon have the largest population of English speaking people. Believe me, I live in Asia and work with many China people and they all speak English.
