Seen your work on someone else’s post but never got the glory or fame for it or at least a backlink? There is a way to manually add a backlink to text via your HTML code in your control panel which can be found in Blogstorm, But if your like me then maybe I think Joost de Valk’s may have solved the issue for all the people who have their blog scraped.

With the request from Shoemoney who wanted some way to make the scrapers work for him, So he asked Joost de Valk who created a wordpress plugin called RSS footer that will insert a default text link back to your site. So if they scrap you they scrap the link too which in turn will give you an additional backlink to your blog.

How To Display Relevant AdSense Ads For Your Niche

Have you realized that Google Adsense always seem to be no related adverts on your blog?

Odds are Google is unclear to what is your keywords and it getting distracted by all your irrelevant words in your sidebar or footer. As a result your click though rate (CTR) is very low.

Most visitors will not click on Adsense ads if there completely different topic to what there reading about, to improve the quality of your targeted ads you should use Section Targeting which you can instruct Google to ignore or emphasize certain sections of your website your blog.

17th Edition of Weekend Links

Page Rank and Backlinks movements… Is it Coming earlier than excepted?

We waited months and months for a PageRank update now it seems it could be the 2nd in 3 months which will of catch everyone off guard, but there’s nothing confirmed yet but Problogger and Dailyblogtips have mentioned it, with Dailyblogtips seeing his other website DailyBits jumping from a PR2 to PR 4.

Facebook Deletes Secret Crush Application over Spyware Claim

Facebook has removed the Secret Crush application due to its link with a notorious spyware company.

Facebook one of the biggest social networking site confirmed the breakup on Monday: “Facebook is committed to user safety and security and, to that end, its Terms of Service for developers explicitly state that applications should not use adware and spyware,” a statement from the company read. “We have contacted the developers and have disabled the Secret Crush application for violating Facebook Platform Terms of Service.”

It worked by Lonely Facebook users eager to find which of their friends had the hots for them instead only got spyware. Invitations to lure members to download the application with the message “One of your friends might have a crush on you!” originated Zango, a company famous for adware.
