PSTraffic more updates from Jamie and more
Since my last update regarding PSTraffic and my update on the slow down of incoming e-gold see here, it seems that the members have responded well has mentioned by Jamie in his latest email (see below)
I would like to congratulate E-gold users. E-gold funds are coming in nicely. If E-gold funds continue to consistenly increase I will lift the
E-gold withdrawal limit right away. I honestly didn’t expect this kind
of improvement this quickly :)STP and VGB funds are consistently being maintained at a satisfactory level. Good job STP and VGB usersAlertpay funds are ok but have slipped a bit. C’mmon AP users let’s move those funds back up where they belong.
Because PS-Traffic members reacted in a very mature fashion I will continue to update members on a regular basis regarding cash flow. I guess honesty wins this time around.
Second email received from Jamie yesterday where he mentioned by reducing their ROI to 120% and he is looking for members feedback.
Many member, bloggers and forum/monitor admins have recommended that
PS-Traffic go back to it’s original 120% ROA.Please voice your opinions in MMG, ASA forums and/or use the contact
page.
My slant on the above two emails, going back to 120% is a standard measure by admin when a site gets to this stage in their life cycle, so it would make sense to prolonging the program further by reducing the ROI. As regard to the slow down in deposits i would like to wait and see with the next few days before passing judgment but it sounds encouraging that there been an increase but time will tell.
Other updates is my 13dailysite upgrade will expire tomorrow and my second set is running at 5 day interval right now, M investment paid we everyday last week and i look forward to this weeks payouts.
incomestorm is doing very well right now with 710 members in just 8 days, with a daily payout ranging form 4.3 to 45% per day for surfing 5 sites, which takes less than 2 minutes. 5 levels of income from referrals ranging from 50 cents to 10 cents per share brought.
Finally, remember Pheonixsurf and the young guy Johnathan Mikula, seems finally after last years ponzi. Formal Charges have been issued by SEC, for more details check out Code4gold blog here

Paid to Blog Series - Smorty
Smorty is my second review in the get paid for blogging, I joined Smorty around one months ago and found the sign up process to be simple and was completed within 5minutes. Approval is typically done within 72 hours and my application was approved with a day. Additional blogs can be added to allow you to have multiply blogs within one account.
Once you have your blog approved, you are ready to write the first article. Minimum payout for an article is $6 and you need to write at least 150 and a maximum of 400 words. Smorty has a unique blogger ranking system. There are two factors affecting your income, firstly, if you have a higher Google Page Rank you will be offered higher paying campaigns. Secondly, Smorty’s calculates it’s own smart score system, it’s created by combining the following factors
1) Google’s PageRank
2) Alexa Rankings
3) Return rate of given tasks
4) Approval/Decline ratio of completed tasks
5) Number of completed tasks.
If you have a higher Smorty score, you are more likely to receive more campaign offers and higher priced campaigns. You can earn up to even $100 per article. The disappointing thing right now is the lack of articles to be posted. My personal experience is that I wrote two articles at the start and have yet too see anymore posts since. Hopefully this change in the future as I quite like the site layout and interface.
Payments are done to your PayPal account, upon approval of your post which will take 5 working days the payout will be done on the first payment day of the week. In summary the site is professionally laid out and is nice to use, only draw back to me currently is the lack of articles available to post, hopefully this will change in the coming months.

Autosurf Update- PSTraffic slow down in E-Gold upgrades
Just received this update from Jamie the admin of PSTraffic regarding the decrease of e-gold upgrades, full update below
Honesty can only get you so far in this industry. It can either break a
program or increase the member’s trust and make a program stronger. I
have always been honest to all my members and I’m hoping for the latter
to happen. Before I go on, this update only concerns E-gold users. If you are not
an E-gold user you don’t even have to read this.I know that some of you that have been with PS-Traffic since the
beginning have heard this same old news regarding E-gold upgrades. Well, I
regret to say that the same circumstances have risen. E-gold upgrades are
slowly decreasing once again. From my observation, although the egold
scare is over, the majority of surfers have pulled out their Egold and
placed them in either Alertpay or Solidtrustpay. This is also the
reason why PS-Traffic’s E-gold upgrades have decreased while PS-Traffic’s
Alertpay funds and STP funds have constantly increased! I have to commend
STP and AP users for knowing how to work their funds into PS-Traffic.My solution:
I will honor all E-gold cashout requests up to July 29th, server time.
Starting July 30th I will place a temporary withdrawal limit on E-gold
withdrawals only. Starting July 30th E-gold users can withdraw a
maximum of $15 only. However, I will give E-gold members an option to cashout
to Alertpay or Solidtrustpay if they wish (Just send your ID# and AP
or STP information)
Please keep in mind that members can still continue to upgrade with
E-gold. I encourage members to continue to upgrade with E-gold so that we
can build up PS-Traffic’s E-gold reserves once again.Alertpay, Solidtrustpay and VGB are NOT AFFECTED at all. AP, STP and
VGB funds are very healthy. This change only concerns E-gold users.I sincerely hope that members take this update in a positive manner and
continue to show support. Payments are still on schedule as usual and
I want to keep it that way which is the reason I wanted to update
members as early as possible.
Paid to Blog Series - Blogitive
Over the next few weeks I will be reviewing different paid to post sites, these are excellent ways to earn a steady income without the risk and exposure of other sources of income. Currently I am four sites but I will sign up the others and give my feedback according to my experience with each site. Each review will cover areas such as sign up, opportunities, payments and my personal rating from my experience. Paid to Blog – Blogitive Blogitive will be my first review, they was one of my first paid to blog sites I joined in around April this year. Signup is quite simple with a single page signup form, they mention approval will take 2 business days to get, I can’t remember the length it took me to be approved so we will assume 2 days for now. You may add additional blogs to your account after approval. Once your blog is approved you can go to the open offers section within your account to see what opportunities are available. Typically I see one to two offers daily waiting and they have a fixed payment of $5 and there is limited offers typically less than 20. The write up must be a least 100 words and have two non paid article between two blogitive offers. Only require to have one link to the advertisers URL within the post. Payment are made to your Paypal account weekly after your post has been approved which is one of the fastest sites as some take up to one month. They have added a few optional services called NewsNerve, Ghost Blogging and comment Moderation which all can add dollars to your account. To summarize my experiences, approval of articles has slowed down from when I started as typical length of approval is around 7 days right now but payments are still prompt and within a week. Quantity of articles is good and they normally are quite simple to write about and can be done within a short period of time. The payouts per article are a little low but again the numbers of posts make up for that. What is Technorati?
What is Technorati?
Think of it like Google but they only search in blogs, Google searches for information on blogs and other websites where as Technorati searches for in blogs, approximately 71 million currently.
Probably the biggest thing between Google and Technorati is Google takes a few days to register any information where as Technorati has the information ready in minutes. So Technorati has advantages over Google.
How does Technorati Ranking Work?
Technorati ranks all the blog in the internet, from there they search for all the other blogs that link back to that blog, therefore the more links you can get back to your blog the higher your ranking. You may like to look at the here to see more about ranking but basically it says that I link will be counted for a total of 180 days, so if that site mentions your link again the 180 days will be reset.
Currently my site is ranked 434,156 meaning there are that many people between me and the number 1 blog. Which is currently held by Engadget, an update ranking can be found here. As my blog is quite new that’s to be expected but over the weeks I be looking at reduce that more.
Making sense of link counts
A lot of the time some guy just adds figures with rankings, ratings and all over stuff. Technorati displays four count-related numbers. Here’s what they mean:
• Rank: the number of blogs, plus one, that have more than the same number of blogs linking to them.
• Links: the number of links pointing at this URL in the last 180 days.
• Blogs: the number of distinct blogs pointing at this URL in the last 180 days.
• Total Links: the total number of links found pointing at this blog, ever.
For more information and a working example click here
.
For today that enough to start you off on understanding how Technorati works, later I prepare an article on how to improve your ranking…
